So Far……

So it’s been over a month since I moved into The Village, and love it (well kinda). I love that I don’t have to keep my whole life in my room (ex: toiletries, towels, food, coats, laundry supplies). I also love that when everyone is burning up in the heat, I’m relaxing in the central air.

But one downside is that the Village is only for a certain of person. I am EXTREMELY social and I love to meet new people. Whereas the Village is place where you are really only going to be interacting with your housemates. Because of this, I am barely at home. Though I love when I am there, I can’t be trapped in my house and secluded from the world. I’m not that type of person.
But I think everyone should see for themselves if they will like it our not. To each his/her own.

College=Reading= :(Chris

So one thing about college I have yet to master is reading. I was never a big fan of it, and I figured I would change my ways in college. But no. I still fail to do my reading assingments. So far I’ve been able to get away with doing a couple assignments in a class of mine without reading  single page out of the book.

But don’t follow me by example. I’m just all over the place. I have three jobs and am the vice president of the Gospel Choir (Rehearsals Saturdays Tyler Hall rm 102 1-3pm) among other things.  By the time I can do homework, something more interesting comes along. I’ve survived four semesters here and I’m thinking this is where my shortcuts are no longer going to pan out successfully. But we’ll see in time….

P.S. I figure for every post I’ll upload a new picture. Sometimes it’ll correlate to my topic and sometimes it won’t.

Adjustments

So I thought it would be a good idea to spend my summer in Oswego. During the summer, it was. I spent time with friends. Went to Six Flags for free(courtesy of SAPB). Had my usuual three jobs all while taking two online classes. My summer was one of the best.

But now that it is over and the regular semester has started. I’m finding it mighty hard to re-adjust. The sun is about to set before 8pm, I have to go to class and listen to professors lecture and all while going to my three jobs. I think having such a good summer doesn’t pay off when you have two weeks to re-adjust back to real life. But then again, who can complain? I mean, I do live in the Village. (Village post to come.)
