Intern Introduction

Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah Henry and I am one of the Web Multimedia (Social Media) Interns here at SUNY Oswego. I am a junior public relations major with a minor in graphic design and have a strong passion in both of these fields. I am excited to have the opportunity to share my experiences here at SUNY Oswego both on, and off campus. I have been attending SUNY Oswego since September of 2015 so I can provide insight in almost all aspects of this wonderful school!

Although I do take my school work seriously, I am very active in extracurriculars here as well. I am a member of a National Panhellenic Sorority called Delta Phi Epsilon where I take on large roles within my sorority as well as within the greek community. Speaking of my sorority, we recently just finished our Spring 2018 recruitment and recruited 11 new wonderful ladies that I am excited to soon call my sisters. I plan to write about greek life on here in the near future to provide information about the entire community. Aside from my sorority I was also on the Executive Board for the Lewis B. O’Donnell Media Summit that took place this past October. Myself, along with 14 other students planned and coordinated the entire event and it was an awesome way to gain experience as well as network with professionals in my fields. One additional thing about me is that I am a TA for a Public Relations Writing class. So far, I am loving this experience and it is so rewarding to help these students as well as form a close bond with my professor.
